Ocean's 10 ambassador Alex Fong encourages the public to be a green consumer by using the Seafood Guide
Seafood Choice Initiative

A seafood guide for Hong Kong

Despite the number of seafood guides previously produced by WWF offices and other organizations worldwide, there is little information on the species available to seafood consumers in Hong Kong. It is not uncommon for stocks fished sustainably in one part of the world to be overfished in other regions. For a Hong Kong consumer to make an informed decision, it is essential to have information that is specific to Hong Kong. And in the near future, we will be releasing the guide in Guangzhou. This Seafood Guide is the first such guide in East Asia using rigorous criteria to assess the species within it.
