More clubhouses and restaurants offering sustainable seafood
Through the Ocean-Friendly Menu programme, WWF assists and facilitates caterers to design sustainable seafood menus. To enhance the practicability of these menus, flexible menus are customized according to the various needs of individual caterers. Although the formats of these menus vary, they are all assessed by WWF’s experts to ensure sustainability.
In about a year, more than 30 caterers have already participated and started serving sustainable seafood choices for their customers.
Apart from restaurants and hotels, there is also a spotting trend among clubhouses in Hong Kong. More and more clubhouses are now participating in the Ocean-Friendly Menu programme, including the Aberdeen Boat Club, The Aberdeen Marina Club, The Helena May and The Hong Kong Jockey Club.
Offering sustainable seafood not only allows caterers to be part of the global trend, but also demonstrate their commitment towards the sustainable use of marine resources.
Join us now to promote international awareness on sustainable seafood that will benefit our society and environment, us and our future generations. You are cordially invited to participate in WWF’s programme to take part in this meaningful campaign.
