Still deciding where to spend your Christmas holiday with your family? Come join our 2-day-1-night programme “Winter Symphony - Mai Po Overnight Experience for Families”, immerse yourselves in Mai Po Nature Reserve and learn about the stories of special creatures in winter!

After enjoying the beautiful sunset, you can join the story-telling and interactive workshop session about animals at night in the first night before bedtime! On the second day morning, we have prepared guided tours when you and your kids will experience what it is like being wildlife biologists! Learn how to use binoculars to observe wildlife in Mai Po and safeguard these internationally important wetlands with your support!

Programme fee and content:

• Day 1:
  • Take shuttle bus at 4 pm from Yuen Long MTR Station to Mai Po Nature Reserve
  • A 1-hour sunset-tour inside the Mai Po Nature Reserve before dinner
  • A simple dinner at Mai Po Peter Scott Visitor Centre at 6pm (Chinese cuisine)
  • A 1-hour indoor story-telling  and interaction workshop session before bedtime, each family will get a story book as a gift
  • Overnight stay at Mai Po Peter Scott Visitor Centre
• Day 2:
  • A simple western breakfast at Mai Po Peter Scott Visitor Centre
  • A 1-hour birdwatching guided tour and a two-hour Junior Wildlife Biologists activity in the morning to discover birds and other wildlife in Mai Po
  • Shuttle bus service from Mai Po Nature Reserve to Yuen Long MTR Station at noon
