David M.H. Fong is active in voluntary work. Currently, he is Life Honorary Chairman of The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Court Member of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation and Executive Council Member & Trustee of WWF Hong Kong. 

David is the Managing Director of Hip Shing Hong (Holdings) Co Ltd, Chairman of Fong Shu Fook Tong Foundation and Fong’s Family Foundation, a Honorary Trustee of Peking University and a member of the Board of Trustee of Jinan University. David obtained a Master degree in Business Administration of the University of Hong Kong.  He is an Honorary Fellow of the City University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and an Honorary University Fellow of The University of Hong Kong. He had started his career in a real estate property company in the United States for 10 years. In 1993, he returned to Hong Kong and took up his present post in his family business. He has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry of Hong Kong and overseas.
