Conservation Policy
© WWF-Hong Kong
Biodiversity is inextricably linked to human wellbeing while nature and wildlife contribute significantly to the quality of our urban environment. More needs to be done at the government-policy level to tackle the environmental challenges that face our city. From country parks and green zones that need protection to retain their ecological value, to expanding marine protected areas and renewable energy use, bold and ambitious actions must be adopted to transform Hong Kong’s into Asia’s most sustainable city.
